Money Won't Make You Rich, True Wealth Will.

I want to talk about something today that is the number one cause of most people's failure at almost ANYTHING they do in life.

Business, relationships, careers, you name it.

So what am I talking about?

I'm talking about Feelings of Inadequacy... and there is NO BETTER OPPORTUNITY for your feelings of inadequacy to come out then when you're starting or trying to build your own business.

You see, we all enter this industry as complete newbies. Whether it's Network Marketing itself, whether it's learning how to use technology, the Internet, no matter what it is... we all start at ground zero.

And because of that... we don't have a clue what we're doing!

THESE moments are truly the testing phase of whether we are going to succeed in our business or not. Because when we set out to learn something new, or try something new, and we hit that first round of challenges, or that first round of obstacles...

Here come the feelings of inadequacy! But they aren't alone...

You might feel stupid, you might feel worthless, and you might start questioning your validity as a person entirely!! What kind of person can't succeed right? And that little voice in your head says... "A bad one!"

And it's at this point... that MANY people choose to take the easier route out. They choose to walk away from what they 'think' is causing these uncomfortable feelings. Meaning the business.

But in the truth... it's NOT the business that causes these feelings.

Here's the tough part to swallow... YOU already HAVE these feelings anyway. The business is just a trigger that brings them out.

And you can either run from them... and retreat to what's comfortable... Or you can see this as the true GIFT that it really is... and face these feelings... and figure out why they are there to begin with.

Because when you do that... DOORS open up to you that previously were completely closed.

Not only in the realm of business will you be a far more efficient and powerful entrepreneur... but you will ALSO have your personal and emotional life radically transformed before your eyes.

And THAT is what I consider one of the most beautiful things about the home-based business industry. This industry can actually lead you to making MASSIVE changes within your own self that will bring much more peace, emotional growth, and strength to your life... and as all that grows... you just watch your wealth grow right beside you.

In fact, I've never seen another industry where the growth of your self correlates to the growth of your wealth as closely as our business.

And guess what happens to those of us that HIT these feelings, yet choose to run the other way...

NOT MUCH. Our lives don't change... in fact they stagnate.

And we HARDLY reach our financial goals because we didn't have the emotional resiliency to charge through the rough times that we will INEVITABLY face.

These feelings are truly what I believe to be the biggest stumbling block in a person's success... and also the BIGGEST reason a person will choose to quit on themselves.

Do you think I felt very good at the beginning? Do you think I felt like a competent and smart entrepreneur even with all my previous business success? No.

There were many times I wanted to quit... I questioned everything I was doing... but the reason for ALL of that was fear. I was just scared, and insecure, and because of that I almost quit a few times.

Yet something in me just wouldn't let me. And this is honestly where I can say I'm VERY lucky... because there was something in me that just wouldn't let me quit.

Everytime I took a beating... I just got back up again and tried something else. Even on the Internet! I spent the first 5 months on the Internet just LEARNING. I wasn't making any immediate big money. In fact, I still wasn't making much money at all... and was scared, insecure, having doubts... yet I had seen enough to know how much potential there really was here.

But FAR more importantly then that... I was being HONEST with myself about how I really felt. I wasn't running away to what's comfortable... I was facing what was uncomfortable and staring it in the face.

I was listening to my family doubt me, my friends mock me, and others tell me I need to "get real."

Yet my desire to grow... my desire to really manifest the vision I had was so strong... that I faced each feeling one by one and constantly moved through them. I just never stopped working long enough to let doubt, insecurity, or inadequacy take any prevalence over my vision...

And on top of that I QUESTIONED where they come from to begin with. And that's the REAL blessing. Because when you start to question these feelings... and REALLY look into them... you find they have absolutely NO TRUTH, NO VALIDITY what so ever.

You see that they are merely creations of your mind... programmed to play themselves out based on your past, which is just a memory, and the fact that something in you still believes you might be inadequate, or not good enough in some way.

And once you SEE YOURSELF for what you really are... you realize that those feelings are just a bunch of rubbish! You can watch them pass like the clouds and know they have NO reality what so ever.

But you can't do that unless you are dedicated to REALLY seeing yourself for what you really are... because if you believe yourself to be those feelings, or thoughts, then you're DOOMED to get carried off in them when they arise!

Our sole focus, if we want true freedom from the limiting belief structures and feelings that hold us back in life, HAS TO BE on waking up to what we really are. Without the knowledge of what we really are... and a ROOTING of our being in that knowledge... then every time something happens that triggers feelings of inadequacy or low self worth... off we go!

You'll find yourself repeating the same cycles over and over again throughout MANY different areas of your life.

And just to let you know... if you think that by some how having a bunch of money is going to get rid of these feelings you are SURELY mistaken.

Money doesn't do it. You cannot BUY yourself emotional awareness!! You can't buy yourself being comfortable with who you are.

These are things that you can have ANYTIME if you really look into them... regardless of how much money you do or don't have.

I can tell you from firsthand experience that just because you make a lot of money it doesn't mean your problems are going to go away!

In fact, if you haven't dealt with issues in your life... money will almost always just MAGNIFY them. Take for instance the people who win the lottery... and become horrible alcoholics, or addicts, and in less then 3 years are either dead or have lost everything.

That's more common then you might think for people who HAVE lots of money yet haven't really developed the 'Internal Wealth' to manage it all. That's one of the reasons I FIRMLY believe that very LARGE amounts of money are ONLY suppose to be in the hands of people who have done the emotional/mental/spiritual growth needed in order to be completely responsible with that level of power.

And in Network Marketing... that's even MORE true. Because I've rarely met a single person who created MAMMOTH success in this industry that hasn't done the WORK, both physical and emotional, to get there.

So start watching the feelings that arise as you build your business in this industry more closely. Realize whether they are good or bad... they are TRULY a blessing... because they will show you the areas you need to grow in.

And if you put in the work... if you challenge yourself to GROW in those areas... you come out on the other end not only a far more successful entrepreneur... but a far more successful person as well.

And that my friends, is where TRUE wealth is created.

I am a habit

"I Am A Habit"

H-A-B-I-T...When 95% of people hear this word, a negative thought pops up in their minds. Typically, most people think of a habit being negative. The secret to your future lies in your daily habits so ask yourself right now, "Are my habits today going to help me achieve my WHY in life?" This is a life-empowering question if you truly ask it and listen for the answer.


I received the following excerpt from a very dear friend of mine and felt that it is definitely the best explanation of a habit that I have ever heard:

I am your constant companion.
I am your greatest helper or your heaviest burden.
I will push you onward or drag you down to failure.
I am completely at your command.
Half the things you do, you might just as well turn over to me,
and I will be able to do them quickly and correctly.
I am easily managed; you must merely be firm with me.
Show me exactly how you want something done, and after a few lessons I will do it automatically.

I am the servant of all great men.
And, alas, of all failures as well.
Those who are great, I have made great.
Those who are failures, I have made failures.
I am not a machine, though I work with all the precision of a machine.
Plus, the intelligence of a man.

Who am I?

I am a HABIT!

One of my daily habits that is the foundation of my life is spending 45-60 minutes each and every morning feeding my body physically by exercising and feeding my mental spirit by reading or listening to a motivational message. This habit warms me up for the day ahead. Everyone washes their physical body and feeds their body every morning, but 95% of people will find an excuse about why they can not find the "TIME" to invest in a habit of feeding their MINDS!

This parallels the statistic that 95% of people are dead or dead broke by the age 65. I consider this particular daily habit of mine to be the driving force behind my ability to consistently maintain my intense focus on the journey of success and living a dream life.

Is it easy all the time? Of course not, but when it becomes a habit – you will do it! If you commit today to begin each morning warming yourself up for the day ahead by feeding your mental spirit, your entire life will change in a positive fashion very quickly. It is like driving a race car with the emergency brake on and you try to go ahead, but you can’t move. You stay in the same location with your wheels spinning, burning up, making a lot of noise, but not going anywhere!

All it takes is to release the brake and you will fly towards toward your WHY in life!! You need to review what your habits are and ask yourself…“Would I recommend MY habits to someone I truly love and care about?” Your entire future lies in your daily habits—positive or negative. You have the most powerful force right now in your hands, the ability to decide what your habits will begin to be.

Success Is Not An Accident

Success is not a miracle. Nor is it a matter of luck. Everything happens for a reason, good or bad, positive or negative. When you are absolutely clear about what you want, you only need to copy others who have achieved it before you, and you will eventually get the same results that they have.


This is referred to in the Bible as the Law of Sowing and Reaping which says that, "Whatsoever a man soweth, that also shall he reap."

Sir Isaac Newton called it the third principle of motion. He said, "For every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction."

For you and I, the most important expression of this universal law is that, "Thoughts are causes and conditions are effects."

Put another way, "Thought is creative." Your thoughts are the primary creative forces in your life. You create your entire world by the way you think. All the people and situations of your life have only the meaning you give them by the way you think about them. And when you change your thinking, you change your life, some times in seconds!

The most important principle of personal or business success is simply this: You become what you think about most of the time.

It is not what happens to you but how you think about what happens to you that determines how you feel and react. It is not the world outside of you that dictates your circumstances or conditions. It is the world inside you that creates the conditions of your life.

Sipho Njiva, His Success... Not A Secret!

When I looked into joining A2W. . . my experience in the MLM industry made me realize very quickly just how unique its compensation plan is. November is a block month approaching our festivities

At the moment back on the subject affair... With November we have a month away from our lovely festivities, well, it depends entirely on you how you are going to mark your festive season; which is a palpable case that it comes once a year. On this commentary I am going to pin-point the things that your eye must constantly meet during this time of the year.

Firstly, we need to know that felony is still out there though our Government is trying to dwindle it drop by drop. With that in wits, we need to be watchful of our personal valuables especially during shopping time. Window shoppers are not all there for the purpose of window shopping, so be careful of those thugs. Spread your money across all your pockets and not your wallet (fool the fool). Another way of doing smart shopping is the stress free use of your debit/credit cards since South African thugs are not so well-educated with debit/credit cards.

Parents, please ensure that your children are always on your spectacles. This could be whether during shopping or in a nearby play-ground. Do this to avoid tears flowing down your cheeks and a tarnished heart in times approaching the so "great" jovial season. To those who possess pets please make sure they mind their business, whether you're in a shopping complex or home. Read signs were there are no pets allowed as those are there for fruitful purposes. To the swimmers, at the beach please adhere to all signs. Watch out for possible shark zones. Have a good listening skill in case the emergency guards blow the whistle. Remember it's not the life of the shark but you becoming the food of the day. If you can't swim, well, you just can't don't try to impress someone because you'll drown. So I richly counsel that care about your life starts not in public but you.

Drivers, oh I kindly bow down with my dented knees and ask you to NOT consume alcoholic beverages while you're still going to drive. I recall an advert by South African Breweries, "Evidence centres do not close on weekends..." So I articulate they do not close during the festive time too. Drunk driving is a too serious offence, and you'll be dealt with if found above the legal limit. And according to Arrive Alive SA, "The blood alcohol limit for professional driver is 0.02 % - one beer puts you over the limit!"

To the South African Police Service (SAPS) we (Public) are sighting whatever you're doing and might be beating drunken people just to get them at the back of the Khwela-Khwela and give them a free ride. But you know yourselves how does a drunken person behave, so why smack them? I am certainly sure that the authorities are slightly aware that you play a huge part in the country's crime speed. So please do your job easily and put in front your employment ethical guidelines of knowing the wrong and the right.

Now I conclude with all citizens, let us all work hands in hands to lift and make sure the above will be carried with pride and enjoyment towards our festivities. "Working together we can do more" President Jacob Gendleyihlekisa Zuma (ZA).

This Is How The Successful Think

Someone who has a positive thinking mindset naturally thinks positive and always foresees happiness, good health, success, and a positive outcome to just about every situation and event that takes place. They also trust and know that they will make the right decision and the right choices. I personally don't worry that much whether a decision is right or wrong because I know that I can make it right if it's wrong. Anyway, here are some pointers: (inspired by T. harv's book, Millionaire Mindset)

Trait #1: Your thoughts create your reality.

Trait #2: Focus on the business model that can significantly help you increase your income.

Trait #3: Reinvesting your money is how you make big money – and you should never feel guilty about making big money.

Trait #4: Constantly be learning from other money makers – from those who are already where you want to be or who are more successful than you in a certain area.

Trait #5: Always attend to important tasks immediately – never waste your time procrastinating.

Trait #6: Focus on purposes beyond yourself – on things you can do with great wealth to help others.

Trait #7: Never allow non-inspirational people to influence you in a negative way.

Trait #8: Help others become more successful in their own life. Always negotiate with win-win in mind.

Trait #9: Work hard now so you don’t have to work hard later on in life.

Trait #10: Adopt a “can do anything” attitude towards obstacles.

Trait #11: Develop a strong passion for learning so you can find ways to solve even the trickiest challenges.

Excuses fuel failure

Excuses for failure, excuses about your choices in life, excuses about what you feel you have accomplished fuel dysfunctional thinking – and consequently, undesirable actions and behaviors. Making excuses instead of taking one hundred percent responsibility for your actions, your thoughts, and your goals is the hallmark of people who fail to succeed.

Part of the power of taking responsibility for your actions is that you silence the negative, unhelpful voice in your head. When you spend your thinking time on success and goal accomplishment, instead of on making excuses, you free up the emotional space formerly inhabited by negativity.

The next time you catch yourself making an excuse, whether for the late project, the unmet goal, or not grabbing an opportunity, gently remind yourself - NO EXCUSES. Spend your thought time planning your next successful venture. Positive thinking becomes a helpful habit. Excuses fuel failure.

One of the greatest tragedies of human existence can be observed all around us, in the majority of the population who travel through life, allowing life to create them, instead of choosing to actively create their lives, settling complacently into lack, convinced that their condition must end up being their conclusion. Many of us even allocate free room and board, in our minds, to the infamous self-sabotaging belief that if we weren’t born with a silver spoon in our mouth… mediocrity is simply our lot in life. How is it that we live in the most abundant country in the world, are blessed with a host of talents, gifts, opportunities, and yet only, approximately, 5% of the population ever acquires financial freedom by the age of 65? The majority, submitting to barely getting by – seemingly oblivious to the fact that a happier, more fulfilling life is available for each and every one of us who would dare to claim it.
Through my experience coaching individuals and groups looking to reach new heights financially, personally and professionally, I have found that often times we can retrace the origins of our current belief systems, to those who’ve had the most influenced on our lives. Growing up in homes in which we never learned our true value, weren’t taught that we could do, be, or have ANYTHING we wanted in life, watching our parents (who were simply doing the best they knew how), struggle to provide for us, seeing the people around us living paycheck to paycheck, this lifestyle and mindset became the norm. In many cases our dreams were never encouraged, and too many of us were never exposed to examples of life’s great possibilities – so we went forward in life, subconsciously, perpetuating the cycle of lack and complacency. If you can relate to this scenario, my question to you now becomes — Are you satisfied with continuing this pattern? Is it okay with you to pass this cycle on to your children, who will in turn pass it on to their children and so on and so forth? Or are you willing to take a stand and proclaim right here and now that the buck stops with you!?

The truth is that regardless of where you are right now in your life, despite where you’ve come from, in spite of past mistakes, your level of education, family history, or any other excuse that can be made for not living life to the fullest … anything that your mind can conceive is indeed possible – for you!

I encourage you that the time is NOW to put an end to poverty, lack, self-limiting beliefs, negativity, and complacency in your life! The time is NOW to start a legacy of abundance and endless possibilities in your family.

If you willing to pay the price of hard work, determination, consistency, right now… or you may find yourself paying the price of regret, disappointment, and what-ifs in increments, over a lifetime. The choice is yours to make — I admonish you to choose ever so wisely.

Some Tips For Developing Your Full Potential

The human psyche is such that nobody ever reaches their full potential. However, there is no doubt that some do actually have a real attempt at improving themselves, to such an extent that they get about as far as is humanly possible in developing their own potential. Such people are probably thinking hard of what further self devlopment they can achieve right up until their dying day.

For the majority, though, developing potential can be very limited, which is such a shame. A very bright and talented, but lazy, person, will be overtaken in achievement by those of lesser ability and intelligence who make a real effort to get close to their full potential.

There are many possible reasons for this lack of motivation to better ourselves. Some possibilities are:

1. fear of ridcule and failure when attempting something new;

2. getting stuck in a rut of a tedious a job but feeling too exhausted to escape from it;

3. fear of the unknown;

4. making excuses because of sheer laziness;

5. being too stressed out to push oneself harder;

6. having no vision or understanding of what can be achieved;

7. feeling that we have a pleasant life as it is, and there is no need to push harder.

Really, there are all sorts of reasons we delay or abandon trying to get closer to our potential. However, remember we only have one life, and it is up to each and every one of us to make the most of that life. Every day is precious; every piece of knowledge you have is precious; every talent we have is precious. All should be exploited and developed to the full.

So, how do you go about developing your potential more than previously? First of all, remember that there is no right and wrong way of thinking. Often, the reason why others try to make you feel inferior when you voice opinions and ideas, is because they wish they had had the idea and courage to do what you have done. Focus on your skills and abilities, and let yourself think freely, so that you can put them to use and truly excel in life.

In order to be successful you need to accept that you will sometimes make mistakes, someitimes need to take risks, and sometimes you will fail. Nobody is perfect, some failures and mistakes are to be expected. The secret to success is to acknowledge them, and above all learn from them.

There are some key personal characteristics that you can nurture, which will help you develop your true and full potential, and these include:

• Self confidence – you really need to be self-confident and have faith in yourself and your ideas. Any doubts will hold you back.

• Hard work – your total effort and commitment is required to get anywhere near or close to your full potential.

• Patience – it is not only a virtue to be patient, it will help you in achieving all sorts of successes.

•Being committed – you must be committed to achieving your goals, and whatever it is you want to achieve. Keep focused on those, and do not let anyone put you off. If anyone negative tries to stop you, avoid them. Any negativity will hold you back, and they are probably just envious anyway.

• Learning from mistakes and setbacks – you are certain to make mistakes along the way, but always learn valuable lessons from them and move on. The same is true of setbacks that may have been out of control. As the old song goes: "Pick yourself up, dust yourself down, and start all over again."

• Being well organized - the better organized you are, the better placed you are to organize your life around continuing self development and realizing your potential, whether in hobbies, using talents, your career or business.

• Setting sensible goals – do not set goals for yourself that are unrealistic, as by setting yourself unrealistic goals you are setting yourself up for failure again and again. Setting goals that are too ambitious will do far more harm than good, and will ultimately discourage you from making any progress at all.

Remember, before setting out on your journey to realizing your potential, two of the most important things are:

1. To understand what you really want out of life to be happy and satisfied, and

2. To understand your own skills and talents that will help get you to that point while pushing yourself closer to your full potential.

When developing your full potential the two most important things to remember are, what you want out of life and what you can realistically do to make that possible. Once you have these facts clear then you can go full steam ahead towards achieving what you want.

Also remember, you don't have to reinvent the wheel... get close to people who has already ahead in life. Ask them for advice, guidance. Even better ask them to mentor you and be serious and committed.

A personal piece of advice. All successful people are involved in more than three money generating activities. Sometimes the one has to subsidize the other or the one is for short term returns and the other for medium term etc.

NOW get unrealistically busy... and don't stop until you reach your goal(s) THINK + START + FINISH = ACHIEVEMENT)

The formula for achieving anything

I want you to write this down and stick it to the fridge, on your dashboard, and in your bathroom etc.

The formula for achieving anything is blindingly simple:
THINK + START + FINISH = ACHIEVEMENT

THINK. The first stage is to THINK. What do you want to achieve? What are your goals? What’s that one thing you’ve been dreaming of doing for years? All great things start with an idea. Whether you know it or not, you have ideas, goals, and dreams that are coiled up just waiting to be discovered. It’s been said people spend more time planning their weekend outing & summer vacation than they do planning their retirement. My guess is we spend more time going to the bathroom each day than we spend each month focused on our goals/future.

Nothing is achieved without first a thought, a spark, a mental itch. Even if you feel stuck or have no idea what you want from life, your job is to THINK for just a few minutes a day. Warning: coming up with ideas and goals is a lot of fun, but because it’s easy and takes little effort, this is where most people stop. To achieve, you can’t stop here, you must…

START. Ideas and goals are powerful because they create potential energy. In order to unleash this potential energy into movement, you must START. This is a critical step because it requires action in order to turn the ethereal into the tangible. If your goal is to start a business, at some point you need to get out of your head and take action. Once you’ve designed your exercise program, you need to dust off your sneakers and START. If you’ve determined the best way to make more money is by going back to school, you need to START by registering and attending class.

The START stage is exciting because the release of potential energy into action can be euphoric. For the first time in maybe a long time you may feel a sense of direction and accomplishment, but as important as it is to START, it’s not enough. In order to reach your goals, you must…

FINISH. This is where champions are made, goals are reached, and lives are enriched. Having the idea to write a book is inspiring. Sitting down at the computer and cranking out a few pages is encouraging. But only actually holding a completed manuscript in your hands is fulfilling. When you FINISH you’ve fully converted an idea’s potential energy into kinetic energy.

ALWAYS REMEMBER; “Anyone can be a starter. You want to be a finisher.” A finisher separates the winners from the wanters.

Not convinced? If you trace back all of your proudest accomplishments, you’ll find they all started with a thought, which led to action, which lead to achievement. Want to be a dreamer? THINK. Want to be a doer? START. Want to be an achiever? FINISH.

My A2W Story #1

This morning i received an interesting question from one of my followers/friends on twitter, a single parent of two based in the US. After thanking me for the continuous motivational and inspirational quotes I post on twitter & FB, she wanted to know my Avenues to Wealth story.

Hence I decided to give you a peek of who the person behind the persona of Vuyisile S. Khumalo also passionately refered to as Sbu, KHUMAVU Consulting Services, Avenues to Wealth distributor & since recently the Vuvisto blog (the latter was actually inspired by a facebook friend "Her Royal Highness" aka Louisa Soole) really is.

In this article, which which one of four I'm only going to focus on how I became involved in Avenues to Wealth (A2W).

The short answer is; I was at the right place and the right time. But I'm sure you expect more than that, right?

Firstly, I think you should know that apart from being an Aveneues to Wealth serial-entrepreneur I'm actually a down to earth, shy guy with a mind of his own and healthy sense of humor.
I'm also a father, activist for social change, a loyal friend and even though I'm based in the EU, Belgium I'm proudly South African.

Being the third of 4 siblings raised by a single parent (thanks Olady for everything), I had to step up at a very young age and do odd jobs after school and weekends to supplement my pocket money and at times to help keep the family afloat. Today, I'm so grateful I did. See now I know that work is not designed to make you rich but business is.
Driven by my love for nice things I knew back then already that I need to find other ways than work to make money. My love for business & money started.

Yes, I said it; I love money and it rates up there along with oxygen in my books.
See, I don't believe that money is the root of all evil. It's all about what you do with your money or how you acquire it that can be evil. So if you running an above board operation and is a blessing to those around you... I see no evil.

Anyway, let me get back to the topic at hand.
It was 3 going to 4 snowy Belgian winters ago, while waiting for a friend at Belgium's International airport Zaventem that a guy who spotted me while waiting for his son walked up to me and introduced himself. It was not long before we started talking business. He explained the Avenues to Wealth business to me while illustrating it on a napkin. As a business man I was impressed by his courage to walk up to a total stranger and start talking business and the enthusiasm he explained the concept to me with.

To be honest, at first I had my doubts, I thought it was a scam, something like a pyramid or 419 scheme. So, I listened to first presentation (which was online) with a critical ear. After which I went on and do some research. After googling keywords like 'network marketing and mlm I discovered that;

10% of new millionaires in the US over the past ten years have done it by building businesses through network marketing.

Even well known authors and business people such as Robert Kiyosaki (Rich Dad Poor Dad), Donald Trump (Trump University) and Tony Robbins (Robbins Institute) have all stated that Home Based Businesses and particularly network marketing, direct sales and MLMs will be the biggest growth industry of the next decade.
The highly respected Forbes Magazine forecast that an incredible 79,000,000 new home based businesses would start over the next three years. That’s over 500,000 a week – and just in the U.S.

Now that’s certainly not to say that the MLM business model suits everybody. There is always a rather large drop out or failure rate, but then that holds true for pretty much any business, online, offline, MLM or whatever. but out of the tens of millions that are started each year, there are plenty that do succeed.
Entrepreneur Magazine estimates that the US home-based business industry may be worth over $420 billion a year; that’s more than pharmacy; food; and consumer goods combined; with an average home office household earning of 65,000 US dollars a year.

So i thought; if this is what network marketing has done for the US, can the same be done for Africa?

My research continued... Now I wanted to know whether Avenues to Wealth (then Holidays and Cash) can be of business significance to Africa. This is when I really scrutinized the company. Instead of finding flaws I came across the impressive testimonies of Sipho Njiva (South Africa), John Morley (South Africa),Adeolu Akinyem (Nigeria)to name just a few. Ordinary people living extraordinary lives.

About a two and half weeks later, I realized the loss I had made by not taking this business serious. People had started earning in US dollars and I had myself to blame.

So, with the help of Jeff (the guy at the airport) I got onboard followed the marketing plan. Not long after that I started receiving one of my great loves (imali/money) and got invited to a fully paid luxury holiday in Spain (7 stars and I thought 5 stars were the highest) where I basically got more inspired after meeting some of the industry leaders.

To date I have not only made a bunch of new friends but also helped and continues to help people change their lives for the better.

Looking at the world economy today with its increasing financial uncertainty, job lay-offs etc. I'm glad I joined A2W because now i'm in control of my financial future.

I strongly encourage you to work towards OWNING YOUR LIFE and that of your family by getting onboard and start laying the foundation for a better life for you and your loved ones.

Characteristic required for success

If you want to be successful in network marketing or any other business model there are certain characteristics you are going to have to have. If you don’t, you are going to have to invest some time in personal development.
In this article I will focus on network marketing as it's what I'm vehemently involved in.

Confident Leadership

One of the first characteristics required for network marketing success is being a people person. You need to learn and understand how people work and feel.

People need to be attracted to you and your personality. Otherwise you will fail to recruit or you will fail to get people to stick around in your organization.

Provide confident leadership. People want to be sponsored and work with someone who is assured of themselves. One of the biggest contributors to a lack of network marketing success is someone who doesn’t come across as confident.

Understanding Point of View

Another characteristic that makes you a good people person is the ability to understand the opinions and perspective of others even if you disagree.

I can guarantee there will be times when you will disagree with your up line, sideline or down line distributors. However if you are able to understand their point of view and communicate that, it will help you go a long way toward being successful in the network marketing industry.

Demonstrate Patience

There are also some personal characteristics that you will need to be successful in network marketing. One characteristic that is an absolute requirement is patience.

You will need to be patient with people of course, but in addition you will need to be patient with the process.

There will be times when things in your business don’t go your way. How you deal with this will determine your success or lack thereof in your network marketing business.

Get Organized

In network marketing you must be an organized person. You will need to learn how to organize your time effectively.

Most people get started in this industry on a part time basis and are working with a limited amount of time. Even if you go full time, you can literally waste entire days away if you aren’t organized with your time.

Building a network marketing business also requires you get organized in the area of your finances. There are a number of financial obligations that come with running a network marketing business. If you don’t know how to organize your finances, you will find that even when you start to make money you will still struggle.

Set Priorities

Another personal characteristic that is required for success in network marketing is the ability to multi-task and work under pressure. There are a number of different priorities in a network marketing business that compete for your time.

Do you spend time on your personal recruiting or do you help a distributor on your team with their recruiting? The month is coming to an end and you are still a few sales short of qualifying for the next level. These are high pressure situations that you need to know how to manage.

The good news is that even if you don’t have these characteristics currently you can develop them over time. The key is through personal development and practice. If you are willing to put forth the effort, you can develop all of these characteristics over a period of time and be well on your way to becoming a successful network marketer in the industry.
